Whatsup with the rim on this MS 69+ coin? Notice how its rounded and not like the classic edge of the jefferson nickel. iT looks like it may have recieved....for lack of better terms...a rim job...-_-. Im sure its more than likely done second hand,regardless,i thought id ask.
It looks like it may have been caught in a dryer for a while. The rounded edge is typical of a dryer coin or (possibly) one that has been spooned. Note how the legend on both sides of the coin is now touching the rim. Chris PS. I think it might be MS72.
Lord have mercy on the soul who heard this tumbling in the dryer and didnt stop the load to get it out. Thats worse than listening to David hasselhoff sing christmas music
