Hard to say ... it varies over time. I enjoy the collection more than chasing after the coins, which different from many collectors. Some people sell the collection as soon as they complete it. I knew one collector who put together to first complete set of large cents by die variety from 1793 to 1857. As soon as he was done, he put up for auction. Then he went out and starting buying them again. Not I.

The 1792 half disme is one of my favorites, but the 1800 half dime, 1796 Dime, 1805 dime (the first high grade early coin I ever purchased), 1796 Quarter and 1802 Dollar are all favorites. My all time favorites are in my gold set.

Gold is my next frontier, after I complete the type set I'm working on. Like you, I enjoy the collection more than the chase. After the type set, I'll be looking for more transient coins, key dates and gold coins in nicer grades to hold onto a few years then sell as part of my retirement portfolio diversification initiative. You've got a good eye, that collection is gorgeous, I'm sure it took a lot of patience as well, waiting on just the right coins to come along for each slot.
