Interesting and it might actually bring five figures now that it has been advertised in the Daily Mail.

 

The estimation at £10000 seems a very high price to me...at least for my own budget...

 

If he had shared it on coin talk it would be a well known variety.

Hard to believe though he had it for so long and just now shares it.

 

My prediction: in England, we’ll see in the future many « single » coins being unearthed or rare ones suddenly found in collection but discovered before 1996. Guess why.
