Lost again

What makes this halo around Lincolns body? I hope I can get a good pic without taking out of holder.i actually have 2 different ones, the second one is a 1969 D with no initials. I thought it was the S but its definitely a D.

It looks like it's the original color of the coin to me.

Yes there are two coins

 

The first is a 1967, the one with no FG is a 1969 D

 

Looks like a regular cent with a touch of toning.

 

This one looks like it has environmental damage. The color is off on the whole coin. Something might have removed some of the outer layers of the coin. This is damage and not an error.

IMO the 1967 looks like normal toning. As for the 69-D with no FG, I don't know how many were minted without the initials. There's been other threads on Coin Talk about this. You can also look at this site:

I have a couple of crazy coins ill post front and back of each one.

 

I came across these and was just floored I'm like who in the world treats their money like this or how in the heck did that happen into MInt

 

The one that sold was uncirculated. Yours isn’t damaged and would not command any sort of premium. I would keep it because it’s cool, but it has no added value due to condition.
