His description is deceptive as is his "die clash" statements. Those are obviously die cracks. If he's such an expert in errors then one must assume he knew he was being misleading.

Man, stuff like this makes me sick. He wants to talk about deceiving auctions? That die crack one is pretty deceiving IMO. Even though it would be sweet for you to try to fight him magman, and win, it's just not worth it. Like Jack said, clear out your account, and check to make sure you weren't cherry-picked. Then, if all is well and good, refund him his money. And hope for a positive. Sorry to hear about this man, not mine, and it has me annoyed, lol. Best of luck to you man, and atleast some ebay sellers here know who to block from bidding.

Yes, I sent him an email and it's posted here. So what does that prove? I had an opinion about an obviously misrepresented coin and had the gall to tell him about it?

Die cracks are fairly common in coins from the 50s. Die clashes are not so why sell one for $30? Get it slabbed by an ebay approved TPG and you could get a lot more.

I honestly believe this coin to be a die crack. I see ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNS of a clash.

Yeah i know, of all the people that bid and saw it, this is the guy that won... sheesh.

oh well, in my email to him I said that had he could have saved us a lot of trouble if he had been nice in the first email, and gave an exmple of what that would be like.
I also said to him that its dangerous to have other people bidding for you, for you are the best person to judge. (or something like that, lol)

I also sent an Email to the Ebay people, about the fact that he has multiple people under one account.

edit: guy emailed me back, said I was still wrong. lol, no surprises there.
