... er, uhm, I mean Father’s Day, lol, what coin or coins would be on your list that you’d like/love to receive from your kiddlets on this day fast approaching?

My kiddos are too young to afford such extravagance but, my choices be:

Hopefully I haven’t stepped on any copywritten toes by uploading these pics!
If I haven’t and you wouldn’t, please provide a photo too.

    Peace!

I have no problems with what my kids are going to give me for Father's Day.
    I don't have any kids -- intentionally.

My Son and my birthdays are the 15th and 16th. Being separated. Just having him with me is enough of a present.

PS you can go back and Edit the title I think you have about an hour.

The next coin on my wish list is out of the kiddos price range - 1/4 oz gold Standing Liberty Quarter Centennial. Moot point anyway as this year will be the first year in a long time that I won't be with either my own dad or the kiddos - instead I'll be in Alaska salmon fishing that day.

I enjoy my kids still wanting to spend time with the old man. When they were young'ens I relished the hand made gifts that I still have till this day. And my kids are both in their 30's.

Anything intrinsic that I want I've always bought for myself.

My wife prefers that I buy it myself as she knows nothing about coins. She'll listen to me talk about them but she's really not interested. I buy my own.

It wasn't in my wish list but I just bought a 1/10 oz. 2007-W Gold Eagle NGC MS-69 Burnished for $130.00. I couldn't pass that up. That's less than spot. That will be my Fathers Day gift to myself. As for the fart.....lol

Nope, sorry, the fart stays, lol. But I agree with you about the present being them! I cried two years straight, after separation! Now, after seeing the ex’s true colours, I pity her new husband even though I’d still cut of his... well i guess there’s no need to get graphic, you get the picture... speaking of pictures... here they are on their last visit and I do get them on the weekend of the 16th btw, “happy happy joy joy” as Ren and Stimpy would say!

I used to fish and camp, just about every summer growing up, with my grandparents living in Flin Flon Manitoba. Grandpa would always gripe about the Americans coming up and fishing our waters. He always wanted to fly into some remote camp in Alaska and fish there but that was never realized. As for salmon... I’ll never willing eat one again, yeuck on my buds of taste! Walleye/Pickeral is my fish of choice. Being Swedish and Norwegian, family holidays always had lutefisk, yeuck to that as well!

I hope you have a blast on your trip!

I'm so not into receiving gifts on holidays but prefer to give them. Just a card or a call from my two adult sons is more than enough for me.

Thanks, Devyn. I will say that salmon is certainly an acquired taste. I definitely will take our local lakes sunnies and crappies over salmon any day. I just couldn't have maybe my one and only trip to Alaska and not go fishing up there!

Same here. I buy coins for my son as he’ll be having his first birthday on the 14 when he gets older hopefully it’ll be something we can enjoy together

Personally I love salmon. One of my favorite fishes. And I don’t eat that farm raised crap either. Wild caught Alaska sockeye is my usual choice

As to the title I’m always up for a big old plate of baked beans. Or some cabbage either in New England boiled dinner or corned beef then keep me away from fire for a while as the whole room might explode

My boy is 26. When he was in kindergarten he made me a cardboard and yarn necktie. I still put it on every Father’s Day at dinnertime.

Oh no. The beans are just loud cabbage and Brussels sprouts and to a lesser degree broccoli or cauliflower will fumigate a room
