How would you characterize the toning on this Jefferson Nickel

    My first thought was "album toning" but that's usually the obverse that's toned and the reverse is white. So I'm going with "market acceptible" ... pretty coin no matter what.

    Ah not so....depending on the paper used....I can post half dimes that have been dipped and show signs of heavy toning in the past.
    Also what medals are we talking ? Nickel, silver, gold, copper....all react differently

    I believe FWIW the TPGs have given those pastel colors grades before.
