I don't know much about early currency but that's a very nice looking note. So AU = About New in currency parlance? I learn something every day.
Rickie mate its not cut very well now is it!! perhaps you should give it to me so that I can save you from having to look at it again :whistle: On a more seriouse note (Pardon the pun) any chance of a closer pic of the central portion of the note? the bit with the two ladies LOL
Hey DeOrc...sure..I'll scan the note again a concentrate on that area for you...will post later on. Was out burning brush today..ahhh the smell of raw smoke on your clothes!! Good ole outdoors!! It is my understanding that the cut is rather typical of these early notes. I think Numbers or Gatzdon was saying that some were even torn by hand. For only 11 known notes to exist...I think I'll keep it..LOL BTW..it is the 2nd highest note graded...that was provided by Oldbucks.
