I've collected US Small Size $1 Silver Certificates over the past 10-15 years.
I think I've got a complete set minus the star notes.
Now I'm looking to do some upgrades AND get some of the less expensive star notes.
I can find a number of text-based grading descriptions.
I would like to find a site (or book?) that has images of the various grades.
Littleton is the only site I have found that has images.
    Are there others?

The Heritage archives are chocked full of high grade images of small-sized SC Aces....in all conceivable grades.

Isn't photograding a bit difficult for banknotes?

I once saw a picture of a note that looked great head-on, but from the side it was obviously crinkled. Could never have told from the head-on pic.

    Could be.
But at least I could see marks, edge problems and folds.
If crinkling is the unseen problem, at least on eBay I could file a SNAD if it isn't mentioned.
A pain to do but at least a solution.

Yes. Photo grading accurately is virtually impossible without side lit photos to go with traditional front & rear flat scans.

Same note with flat and side lighting.

Wow, the difference is startling. Remind me not to buy notes based on visible condition

If you find any type of Photograde for currency please let me know. I have just started to collect currency and am having a hard time grading.

The difference is also visible on notes in TPG holders.
