Has anyone seen this sort of coin? I know about German New Guinea and conventional New Guinea, but NOT this creature.

They are listed in Unusual World Coins. Colin R Bruce, 5th Edition page 405 Medallic Coinage, Richard Lobel Series. X #M1, M1a, M1b, M1c. Struck in Bronze, Copper-Nickel, Silver, and Gold.
Has to be a fantasy coin. Edward VIII coins were circulated for Fiji, New Guinea, British West Africa and East Africa, but none with an effigy that I'm aware of.
