Missed a Jackpot, but still got a really nice consolation prize

OK, at the bank today, teller tells me they have over $4000 in old hundreds. I ask if they don't mind if I bring all my loose coin in so I would have enough to buy them all. They let me.

After counting all the loose coin, the teller goes to the vault to get the hundreds only to return and tell me that they were all handed out already. We check with all the other tellers and none of them have any left.

But, she did have a $1000 strap of $20's that were brought in by the same customer. So at least I didn't walk away empty handed.

In that strap, I found these three stars.

I also found these other gems.

The oldest was a 1950. I still need to go through the book to see if any of the others in lower condition are worth anything, but I will be keeping them all.

Given the series and mix of these $20's, I can only imagine what I missed out on in the $100's. Given that $100's tended to last longer, I'd bet there were some 1934's in there with the possibility of some 1928 notes.

I'm still happy though, I'll be filling plenty of $20 spots in my album.

Just talked to the wife, don't know if she will let me keep them all. I may have to choose between trading some of them or giving up some of my coin searching money. Will post in the open forum if I don't find anyone local to trade (e.g. after next coin club meeting).
