I'm considering placing my Peace dollars into airtites. Will the Peace dollars stay alright in the airtites, or will the trapped air tone them? Any opinions will be appreciated!:desk:

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Just like slabs, they might tone if stored in a humid and/or hot environment. I see no reason not to use Airtites in that respect though...Mike

The coins will be just fine in Airtites IMHO. I prefer them to most all devices on the market.

The coin will tone because of the environment it is stored in. So even though it is in an Airtite, a flip, or even a Capitol holder it will tone if not stored properly. Change or exposure to temperature, humidity, direct sunlight are just some factors that can tone a coin other then chemicals in the atmosphere.

Overall get the Airtites. They are great protectors and can be replaced for a some fee should they get scratched to much from handling. I like handling or allowing others to handle my coins, thats why I love the Airtite.

    Keep on Collecting!!!
