Got this coin I bought yesterday all I no its a dime is this error or what

Imho, It looks like a 199-PMD.

 

This is no error. This is corrosion and has a value of 10 cents, spend it and get a better looking one

 

Imho, how much did you pay?

Why would you buy this coin?

 

you got ripped off...if you spent more than 10 cents..

 

Roosevelt dime - no clue on date but 1965 or newer & "DefDam" +1 (my 2 cents)

 

Damaged in more ways than one. What on earth made you buy this coin? It's worth ten whole cents.

You need to do some serious research on coins before spending another dime! Yes, the pun was intended.

 

Test for silver, but don't waste too much time on it. With today's silver at around $14.30 it's only worth $2.45 or so.

 

I bet money this worth more than 10cent
