Have you tried comparing it to any known DDRs for whatever date it is? Just curious. 99.99% sure you do not have a DD there, btw.

ok 99.999999999999999999999% it isn't At least you are trying to learn and have a positive attitude. Better than a lot of newer people around here. Finding true errors and varieties isn't easy. I've been through literally millions of coins and the percentage of actual worthwhile keepers is incredibly small. You will never get rich searching coins. As long as that isn't your goal, you will find something eventually.
DDD like @ldhair said. Notice how the raised parts of the letters are thinner. The letters on true doubled dies are normal size. If you see doubling with thin numbers or letters, then it's not a true doubled die
