Fake 1889 CC?

Thanks for all your opinions. FYI, I wasn't planning on bidding; I'm trying to hone my grading skills and also my ability to spot fakes so I appreciate the feedback.

i have been catching up on the posts here. i just noticed this coin sold for 1500. looking at it, i am nearly 100% sure this is a fake. i do not have my diagnostics book w/ me, but this coin just doesn't look right, even trying to give it the benefit of environmental damage. $1500.00!!!!!!! did this really happen?

 

I contacted Ebay to see if they can help. Here's what I said:

This item is a counterfeit. The coin itself is a counterfeit and the slab it's in is also a counterfeit. The seller kept the bidders ID's private so "we" cannot contact the buyer to warn them to have the coin authenticated upon receiving it, so "we" need you to do it for us.
