Are my old eyes deceiving me....are most, if not all, the chop marks in relief (raised from the coin surface) versus incuse (pressed into the surface)? The chop marks I have seen on coins are
incuse. If there are relief features in a chop mark, displaced metal for the relief feature is created by an incuse impression into the medal.
If this is the case, the relief chop marks on this coin lends more credence to this coin unfortunately being counterfeit. Please respond to my concerns.

Good morning @buckeye73 As I have had this coin in hand,I can say the chop marks are in fact correct. Larry
