I was wondering if someone could help me identify how much this shield nickel is worth. I recently inherited it but have little information about it and its value. If you have any information about its history and/or its value please let me know. Thanks!

Looks to be worth $2,500-3,500 depending on the buyer. BUT something to keep in mind: there hasn’t been a coin in this high of condition sold at auction for several years. The price could very well go up even higher. You might want to consign this to an auction house, if you are looking to sell.
Also, let’s get a closer look at that date. Make sure it’s not an 1883/2. If it is, the value jumps 5 fold.
I posted the correct link. It was for auction prices of Liberty nickels With Cents. The link you posted was for 1883 liberty nickel without Cents. @RustyNickle posted photos of an 1883 Liberty nickel With Cents. Even though the label doesn't show it, the coin in the holder is With Cents. I'm curious to know if there is any added value because PCGS labeled it 1883 and omitted the fact it was an 1883 With Cents nickel. Would the OP benefit by having it relabeled or leave it the way it is? The last auction price I could find for an 1883 MS 67 Liberty nickel With Cents was in Jan. 2019 where it sold for $3,840.
1883 was a transition year for nickels. They actually minted three different nickel types that year. Two were liberty nickels and one was a shield nickel.

Pcgs has it at $3900 about top retail. Probably expect more along the lines of $3000-$3200. Nice coin
Wham-blammm, thank you ma'am! That's quite the Shieldnick! I had a proof 1883, once (or maybe it was an '82), but even though it was a proof it didn't have the brilliance that one does. (And it certainly wasn't a 67 grade.) In fact, it was very slightly dull. Man, that thing's quite the blazing supergem, ain't it. I know the "Shield" types (2c and nickels) don't get as much appreciation, but pieces like this, well... they're definitely worthy of notice. That's Registry quality, for sure! BTW, Numismedia puts it at $3,710 in MS67. (Oh, I see @Lehigh96 already linked up the Numismedia wholesale, which is probably more realistic.) Here's your PCGS cert verification page, showing it has a population of 19 in MS67, with two higher (in MS67+). Those must be a sight for sore eyes. Accessed from that cert page, here are the auction records for MS67 coins, which is perhaps the best way to gauge the real market value of coins of this caliber.
