I have a true binary note on EBay and noticed someone else has one with almost the same serial number . Theirs 01001111 mine 00101111 . Do you think I should try to win the auction and if I do sell as a pair ?

It’s hard to say if they’re worth more as a pair.

Are binary notes popular ? Can you post pics or links @Baryoung ?

Here's mine . The other one may not be in as good condition as mine.

Too bad it's not from the NY FRB - you'd get another set of ones, or KC, then more ones and zeros.

What a terrible signature the Treasury Secretary has. Looks like a child wrote it. It's not even in cursive.

These kind of notes are valuable. I had one, and someone offered me $30 for it on ebay (my note was more circulated). But, since your note is in better condition, you could definitely get more than $30 for it. Nice find!

About value as a pair- I don't think that their value would heavily increase being in a set.

Hmm... Jack Lew's was far worse:
    What even is that?

At least Mnuchin's signature is fully legible.

However, my personal favourite is Lloyd Bentsen's signature:

Personally, I would not advise purchasing it just to try to sell as a pair. In numismatics, most things are worth the most when broken up and sold to the most amount of people.

I guess I was going with the assumption that they’re from two different runs. If they’re from the exact same run, that would change things. Thanks for the input.

And ghet made Jack Lew do something legible. His real signature is a scribble.
The best signature of all time is Spinner's.

Interesting @TheFinn. Can you post the entire note or give us the serial number ?

For what it's worth - your note is the letter O

Not worth buying and selling as a pair. Be happy with your note or sell as what it is.

It's just a picture from when they were preparing notes for Lew. None were issued with his day-to-day signature since no one could read it.

This was probably as fancy a note as I will ever own. It was true binary, radar, repeater and rotator. In Gem grade too. Nearly impossible to find one like this. I sold it a few years ago.
