Nice for a circ find. Just a reminder even though it is circulated it is still never a good practice to put your fingers on the faces of the coin.;)

Yes, always handle coins by the edge/rim, if you can't use a white cotton glove. Your fingers deposit skin oil onto the surfaces that will degrade the coin.

When posting, always post in-focus, full images of both the obv. and rev., plus an in-focus close-up of the area you have a question about.

Does this dime have a mint mark?

You can still find these CRH, but it's getting less frequent every day...nice pick up from circ.

Without a rev. pic, hard to assess, but from the obv. pic provided, it looks to be somewhere between VF20 and XF40...just a well circ. coin worth melt if no mint mark...Spark

From the NGC U.S. Price Guide, both VF AND XF (yours is VF30, imo) list at $1.85.

Melt is $1.07, as of today...Spark

I am 2 years into a Fisher, and looking forward to getting back to my Old hunting ground. Lot's of good stuff on Capital Hill. I am thinking about carrying some seed to throw in the hole when I re/plug the ground. It would be a courteous thing to do if you are disturbing Privately maintained Public property.

It's easier to walk if you find yourself in that position. A lot of folks don't understand and think you are destroying the property. Then you have to deal with the PO PO's
not much fun especially when they haven't been educated.
