An iconic coin and my first auction house win

I bought this one specifically for the test cut (ouch!!):

Is Athena screaming, and the owl jumping over here? Lol

 

Its so deep and also cracked that it used to be articulated and I could move the pieces around to make Athena look like she was 'talking', but I fooled with it one too many times and it detached. I had to fix it up with a dab of Elmers glue.

 

The coin does feel ‘lively’ though

 

That is gnarly! Now I’m curious to check out other really damaging test cuts.

I don't have any real information, just some hearsay about the quantity (20-30K).
