Yes, I was finding pennies and others until it warmed up. Now the professionals are out scarfing everything up and waiting for more.
I pick up anything that even looks like a coin. The other day I thought I saw a dime on the ground, but when I picked it up, it was a TUMS. Yucky. After washing my hands, I cleaned my glasses. LOL
Yes. Every penny I pick up goes in my change jar, which will eventually get cashed in and spent on silver or other coins. So every penny found is a penny closer to an ounce of silver.
I found my first 2019 cent on the ground outside the grocery store. It was still in AU condition and now in my coin folder.
I'm torn. On one hand I do not really care about 1 cent coins. Then again, one sometimes comes across odd finds such as a coin from some "exotic" country. So when in doubt, I will pick the piece up ... Christian
Nope, couldn’t afford penny loafers as a kid Sometimes I’d have 2/3 floating around at the bottom of my shoe. I kept it there until I couldn’t stand it anymore! If you were lucky or needed/down on luck, I would take it out and pass it on. Thinking about it now... People were probably grossed out! Lol
So what do you do in this situation? (A) pick up the pennies and walk away (B) feed each penny into the horse and ride it for a while (C) add a few for the kids (d) nothing I think I see some *mint errors* there too ...
