I just got my mint order of 2008 W ASE's, and they look GREAT!! I'd send pics, but scanner is on the blink and the wife lent our daughter the digcam. Maybe this weekend I can post some! Anyone else gotten yours yet?
Received the Mints E-Mail yesterday. Shipped March 26 should take about 7 days to receive. Can't wait.
Howdy stasher/all, Rec'd mine yesterday. I'm on the subscription program for these ASE - W's so that might help me receive them early. However, they do look great. rono
Mine is still in process. All of you who recieved yours yet, are you on the subscription program? I ordered online the minute they became available on March 17th. and it still hasn't been shipped.
I am on the subscription program and the mint's E-mail stated shipped on the 26th. I have a few subscriptions and have been happy so far. A few people say they do not like the program but it has been good to me so far.
I received mine today. I took a glance at just the obverse on each and can't find a flaw of any kind, other than a slight offset strike on two out of the five. I wish they were easier to get out of those boxes to look at the reverse And I agree about the subscription program. I've had no problems and it keeps me up to date on releases.
Went to the mailbox and to my suprise the box from the MINT was in. It is hard to belive that their E-Mail that said shiipped on the 26th. and I received them on the 29th. It has always taken about 7 days to get my order. Looked over the coins and they looked fine. There is some minor flaws on the so called frosted arear's but I do not think I will send them all in for grading proberly just one in order to have a MS 69 for my graded set and will take the one that has the most flaws and place it in my Dansco . Hope all that ordered their 2008 W's receive them soon.
Well here goes nothing. Not the greatest picture taker but I hope you can get an idea of how the 08 W's look.
Are the 2008's easier to take out of the box then the 2007's? I have 10 2007's that I got from the mint last year but I can't get them out of the box without worrying about the box tearing.
When you open the box take out the section that holds the coin. In the back there is plastic so you can push on the plastic and the capusal will come out without harming the box. Hope this helps.
How else do you guys store your silver eagles that are in the round air tights other than in the box/holder they came in? I would like mine out and able for me to look at and enjoy!
