    Hello All,
    Here's a recent discovery from my collection. Going to fly to PCGS Long Beach to submit in person. Concerned if this piece will avoid a details grade with this very minor hairline. Based on the other coin that PCGS designated an MS62, I'm confident on my chances. Thoughts on grade and value? Much appreciated!

    @Coins1776 First Welcome to CT.
    Please show the reverse as coins are judged by all 3 sides.
    Also note when you have 2 choices for the image size...thumb nail & full size.
    Full size is better.

    Welcome to the neighborhood!

    I don't know about the scratch in the left obverse field. Yes, it would have been better if you had used the "Full Image" option so we can enlarge it for examination. It just might get a "Details" grade.

    I voted no because of the reverse toning (posted in another thread). Even with a details grade, this is a $2-3000 coin.

    You can post this picture of another coin as many times as you want, and it’s not going to change anyone’s mind.

    Since this is a $2000+ coin even in a details slab, just submit it to PCGS or NGC and be done with it. If you want advice, go with NGC and select conservation service for it, too. That is literally the best thing you can do with this coin.
