2019 w quarter

Nice looking quarter my local dealer said it retails around 15$ just want some other opinions TIA

That has been one ballyhooed coin. There are two million of them being struck so it isn't particularly rare. If I wanted the coin personally I wouldn't think twice about giving fifteen bucks for it. What this one may be valued at five-ten years down the road is anyone's guess. However I don't think the 2019W quarter will hold it's current value down the road. But that is just personal speculation.

 

There going for 50 and 60 on ebay so sell it there

 

They are about $15 bucks on Ebay also. Starting bids over $18 end without a bid. Has been falling since they have been found in public for 25 cents.

Well I have some experience with this coin, I wouldent take 15 for one. This ebay auction sold for $54

I tried to tie it with the 96 w to see what would happen, that was my 6th w Lowell sold a few minutes ago. but it ranges from 18-30 on each, I have a few more of each to sell. This dime was Ft with no blemish.





also keep in mind, ive talked to some people, the mintages aren't know how they are going to be spread, but all ATB quarters this year are going to be in circulation with the w mint mark, not just Lowell, the American memorial park w is out also, seems not as many as Lowell. I wont give advise. I sell a few of them however.

I try to make a little to support my spending (hobby) on stuff I like more.

 

So when someone says you quarter is only worth 25 cents, your opinion is noted.

 

I was collecting when the 96 w came out, I was young, girlfriend, who eventually gave birth to my daughter, I just bought a new home, if I remember rite I wanted one so bad, I seem to remember they were wanting around 80$, that would have cut into my drinking money at the time, I did not make enough to justify to my owning one. I remember some hype in coin world. well, I can afford them now, price of them never that I remember droped below 10-13, I had to sell all my coins when life slaped me around some, and was sick about it, I quit collecting for 10 or 12 years. sorry for the life story, I think one difference is none of them were circulated, so mabie hanging on to some good ones now, may be or may not be a good idea, either way, Ill have some. the us mint wont sell any, and are hush about details, I even talked to two people over the phone about them while ordering other items, they don't know either. been trying to pry information out of them.. its like colonels secret recipe.

 

$0.99 to $2500.....buyer be picky. Basically it worth whatever you can get for it. How good a quality is it? Would you pay to get it listed? Realistically, from your pic, looks like a $10 coin, but that again depends on who's buying it. Don't be bummed though, it's worth a try but I wouldn't look to get rich off of it.

 

Weaver that's a good looking coin, its hard to find them very high grade, because the only way to get them is out of circulation, none are certified problem free. last time I checked. most of them are ms66, and a lot of 67. but then again certified ms 67 is way more expensive than the average. that's just the ones they sent in and paid to have graded. for one your coins market value is more than 15$ and listing is free, you pay when it sells, if price is too high it wont sell. true the value is dependent on what someone will pay, so true market value is not listed in a book. and is not opinionated. its what an auction is for, some people will pay more than others.

 

Only a fool would pay that much.

 

There is one born every minute, so to speak. Anything can sell for any price, as long as there is someone that wants it bad enough.

 

Mike Mezak had one of these on HSN last night with an MS6? rating for $135 plus shipping. Claimed it to be an early release, too.

 

Well, if they are $15 , I will gladly sold all as roll and buy some silver coins
