I would call it a VF-30+. It's just weak enough in my opinion to not make 35 but it appears to be strong for a 30.
I was thinking a VF35 for this coin myself. When it arrived. After a close inspection of the coin ... I saw a nice original skin with nice even honest wear an your normal high points. I saw nice vf35 or better details With Date placement and "S" placement I saw that the coin is REAL as there is ONLY a VAM-1 and VAM 2 for this coin - This is a VAM-1.( Far Date / Slanted High 3 ) ( and dont take anything for granted when you have spent this much on one coin) What I did not want to see was the hit marks below "God" and below "trust" That is a point killer. THis is a VF30 and totally agree with PCGS' assessment of the coin. Wasn't too much of a game as most of you's guys hit it spot on nice work j
I had an EF 45, and an EF 40, and there was much more wing detail. When you start getting into the 35-40 range, details are much sharper, and although there is still wear, they look far more detailed. Your coin is really nice, and if you paid less than was said, congratulations. You did well.
No graffiti on the left side fields or devices. Just good old-fashioned wear—it is a circulated coin. Definite straight graded coin, and a nice example of the King of Morgans.
