1929 D wheat penny. Was curious about the the mark between the N’s and it’s value.

Probably a BB gun or a punch. What is called PMD (Post Minting Damage) in this forum.

I'm going to sat a small Lamination Error.. not a major one and really no major premium. .50 cents, no more than $1.00

 

I think your coin looks to be a Struck Through Debris Error, if it is an error coin at all. The bottom of the indentation has a very irregular shape.
The damage at the end of America is PMD, and makes me think the dent is too.

 

It's worth a nickel or two at best. That mark between the N's is not a mintmark but probably Damage. The last A in AMERICA adds to that therory.
