The 49 nickel is worth 5 cents.
Keep it.

 

You can do some reading, that will help, See the nickel the 49 has a value higher if it was uncirculated, or war time nickel, but since they made 60 plus million, its not rare. a lot of different factors in a coins value. you have to read up on that stuff.

That one is worth more than face, but you should just keep it, its not rare retail mabie a dollar.
