I am rather new to this coin collecting hobbie .And im blown away by this awesome find i scored while roll hunting today .I believe its a triple strike die clash. What do yall think? Right above the "we trust" it reads backwards and its e pluribus unum and on the reverse things are crazy too. The letters even go to the face of the edge of the coin. Thinking about getting it graded as i cannot find another example like mine. Id loce to be a discoverer.

The first coin you posted is a 1977 Memorial Cent o_O

What You see is considered PMD - Post Mint Damage. Not a triple strike clash anything.
Just a lot of nasty scratches.

Someone took another Cent and placed it on top of the 1919 then hit it with a hammer. This occurred after it left the Mint.

Sorry.. Not a Mint Error. You haven't discovered anything new :(

I didnt try to put that 77 thats my bad. I know that was scratches. And dude theres no way someone struck that coin. The letters are on the edge face it wraps around the edge.
I want to meet a man that can hit a coin so hard that letters wrap around a coin edge.
I bet he could slap the edited too... Puhlease

Let me see it when it's been slabbed that way by either PCGS or NGC.

I have been collecting mint errors for 34 years now.. I have that damage dozens of times! It is definitely possible with the correct hammer to be created..

It is not a Mint Error.

The type of damage on your 1919 cent is called a Vice-Job. Squeeze some coins in a vice or stack or apply some other force and you'll get the same thing that's on your coin. The mirrored images of letters are the giveaway.

I respect your opinion im still going to my coin guy
Ps there is no hammer in the world that will wrap a letter without rounding out the edges of said area that the letters wrap

The letters arent mirrored though. They are just as if the die struck it. Also how does the vice get letters to completely wrap around the edge of the coin. ?

Think about this.. I could of decided to lie and deceive you and instead by saying "Wow that's an incredible and rare mint error you have there!".. But guess what? I'm not a lier nor a deceiver so I told you the truth. All of us did.

    Joshua,
I definitely see the lettering on the edge. And I'm telling you it was created intentionally.
The letters are incused and backwards.
You need to look at then very carefully.
That did not happen at the Mint.

Im not speaking only about the edge but the round side of the coin. The letters wrap it. No vice job or hammer will do this
