Since ANA membership allows one to submit to NGC directly is there any reason to get an account with NGC directly rather than using the ANA perk?
Only two I believe. If you buy a high enough NGC level account you get enough "free vouchers" to equal what you paid for the membership (but all the vouchers have to be used at the same time. If you are just going to do an occasional submission the ANA membership might be better.) Two if you submit with an ANA membership I believe you can't track you submission as it goes through the grading process.

Yes the 150 membership gives you essentially 150 worth of vouchers so it's free. The 8 voucher PCGS one actually saves you significant money if you use it right.
