s-l1600prset.jpg Were the proofs 99.9 % silver in 2014? IM bidding on this set, and Im not sure what would be too much, the grade is perfect. I think 1.13 oz silver if they are 99.9 auction is at 45$ but one day left, I know its going to go for more.

Yea, that's what im trying to do, there are no coin dealers close, so I tend to trust grading companies. ok they dident go to 99.9( until 2019) thanks.

What I meant is do not pay extra $ for a coin just because it is in a slab.

Do you ever worry about Chinese counterfeits? Or do you just contest them through PayPal? I haven't purchased certain things on ebay or amazon for this reason.

I understand, I agree. I like slabs, Id sure rather see them. Ive found without a slab at ebay, you end up sometimes getting what a retail dealer did not want in his store, hidden scratches not on the picture. besides the stuff I just like, im trying to make sure its silver so I lessen the chances of loosing money I invest in some items.

luckly I haven't got ripped off with any fakes so far. I tend to stay on the lower priced coins.

if they don't have a good reputation and high volume I don't buy.

I do not buy coins on E-bay, I have not had the need to. I have bought tokens several times, but no coins.

Do some research and determine what you think is fair based on your coin budget and income. Remember, buy the coin and not the slab.
