    Hi all,
Welcome to my 22,000th post celebration thread!
    Capture+_2019-04-30-14-32-18.png

Today I want to share the last Mint Error I submitted to NGC in January.
I have shown this Cent before but it was in an older NGC slab with no prongs. I thought a reholstering would make it look nicer!

It's a Double Mint Error.. Rare IMHO
Split Planchet before strike struck with a Capped Die.. (might even be unique)

Nice Coin, Is it underweight due to the split?

Definitely.. Split Planchets usually weigh half of what they normally do. I have a few I will share with you when I get home! I have one that was Split Before Strike and another Split after Strike.

Nice split planchet coins, @paddyman98. Especially great to see a split before and split after side by side. :)

    And congrats to your 22,000.

Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

If you only had a coin for every one of those posts. Oh wait, you've shown your collection before and I think you do?

    Congrats!!!

Not trying to hijack but do you have both halves of a split planchet? Here's mine. IMG_2950.JPG

Can you post a photo of the reverse of this coin? I find these most interesting in the way the design is transferred from one side to the other.
