Is mechanical tripling possible ?

    Ran this on a previous thread a couple days ago. Not very many responses so thought I would tighten it up a bit. Subject is reverse E PLURIBUS UNUM on 2015 D Nat. Park

    heres from an online resource, I was curiouse also.

    triple struck. In the normal process of striking coins, a blank planchet is struck once by the dies, then ejected. If a coin is not ejected properly it can be struck again. Coins can also be struck multiple time

    this cent appears to me as triple struck. but they called it ddo.

    Imho, it’s a mad (misaligned die strike) with md.

    DDO is a coin Variety caused by hub doubling not by machine doubling.
