Canada 10 Cent Elizabeth Volunteers .. can any of you tell what is printed on the face of the coin around the edges?.. thank you in advance
The 10 cent coin looks like it has been harshly cleaned, and or received some post mint damage with all the scratches on it. It was a coin to commemorate volunteers in Canada . Value 10 cents.
Looks like some small die cracks above Canada. General deterioration of dies on both sides. And then the pmd all over.
Nothing is printed on your coin.. on any coin. Coins are struck/minted not printed. Paper currency is printed using ink.
Take some modeling clay or silly putty a make an Imprint of your coin and see if you can read it then. I see the it,but can not make out anything.
Hi Imho, not die cracks .Those are called die grooves. No extra letters or printing like @paddyman98 said.Plus major pmd scratches. The die grooves are very common on these years. http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=10-cents-2001&years=10-cents-1990-2003
