I'm especially fond of the 2 Euros with different designs. I picked up as many as I could when I was in Germany a few years ago.

As if we can come to a collective unanimous agreement as a we? LOL
I don't find them too interesting.

Back a spell (2003?) the mint issued a set of Euros with a group of State Quarters for that year. That's about as far as I went with collecting them but I do like and appreciate them (Euros). It's just that I don't come across too many........

I’ve never really thought about collecting them.

I only have Euros from friends who live in EU countries - when they visit me I always ask for some. So, yes, I collect friends' pocket change. Apart from that, I have no desire to collect them. There are too many and they really don't have any value above face, with the exception of the Vatican Euros.

I don't collect but I save them, then spend them whilst driving through Europe.
    I also save the notes.

Great for buying drinks on the car ferry, fuel, tolls, tips and meals.

Yeah? Check out the Monaco proof issues lol

...oh and if you find a 2002 Italy 1 cent piece with the Mole Antonelliana, then you really struck it rich with pocket change.

I've been collecting them out of coin star's machine.

If we conceive of the European Union as a United States of Europe, in a way, they're quite like our state quarters.

I collect 2 Euro coins . . . but only from EU countries I visit. I have several nice BU €2 from Germany, one from Italy. Hoping to pick up more from Italy this summer, and some from Austria.

Paddy if you’re interested, I can send you a couple of 2 Euro coins which came straight from original bank rolls. What’s your favorite design?
