What will be your last collector coin you'll ever buy before you decide to quit collecting anymore coins?
1909 VDB Matte Proof. Im sure it will be the last MPL I will need and if I have that much money to spend on a coin, then the challenge will be gone. Definition of bittersweet.
I would very much like to have the King of Siam collection if the sucker....I mean seller....would be willing to accept Crappy Zincolns for it. Chris
Probably the 2064 proof set in order to get the centennial Kennedy. Also that year I'll be celebrating 102 years of collecting.
seeing as im only 15 right now, i cant think of one that i would get to end collecting but i do have a few on my coin bucket list like a 1616 dutch lion dollar.
A beautiful example of an SLQ... this one for example, only $36K. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1916-Stand...589759?hash=item215668317f:g:muQAAOSwBfJclaSa
MS65 or higher Norway 1914 2 kroner Mor Norge (Mother Norway) a one-year type coin commemorating the centennial of the Norwegian constitution. I love the design, a woman standing, looking out to sea, as hundreds of thousands of Norwegian women have done down through the centuries waiting for their husbands and sons to come home. Steve
That’s a German East Africa 15 rupees gold coin (single year issue and the only German colonial gold coin ever made)... I’d like to get one for each of my kids. Considering it’s a $5000 coin in a decent condition and the number of kids, it’s likely the last purchase I’ll make.
Probably no telling. I have no plans to stop collecting, and my interests may change when my last coin is bought. But my last one I bought that I am now waiting to have it show up is a PCGS 1976 S silver quarter, MS68. I'm pretty sure I will enjoy that.
The first plastic US. Mint coins mint set is released, but I will not buy it except with old zincolns from coinstar. Jim
