You can buy them at the bank. You'll never guess how much they cost. 99 cents, plus one cent tax.

Welcome to the forum!! The cheapest way to obtain the presidentail dollars is to ask for them at your bank. You can get them for face value there(1.00)

You can just exchange a dollar for a president, but usually I don't make a withdrawal.
    PS: it's ':mouth:circulation'

I like to deposit a dollar then get a coin, then ask the teller to" take it out of my account"

What you might what to consider is to buy a roll(s) $25.00@. Carefully open the roll, on a towel, and pick through the 25 coins, checking each one with your loop. Pick what ever you want to save and or give away then spend or deposit the rest.

This is what I do. I save 5 of the best coins out of one or two rolls. I can only get Philadelphia Mint rolls where I live so I have to buy BU Denver's from the coin shop. I either spend the rest of the roll(s) or offer them as even trade at coin club meetings.

    Good Luck and Have Fun!!!

i have seen on the us mint website that u can buy, like, 250 prez coins in a big bag. i thought that if i did that i would sell them off one by one as the price listing go up. (i hope).

Money fan ... your enthusiasm is great but now you're scaring me. The single roles from the bank would be a less expensive investment for the same quality coins. Why don't you start small and see how it goes.

Try Wal-Mart. They often have dollar coins when the banks do not. Also ask at your Post Office.

Any of your large national banks, Bank of America, Wells Fargo or CitiBank will carry them upon their release. Check the US Mint (www.usmint.gov) for the release schedule and check with these banks. Whether you have an account or not, they will typically help you out now that they are hard up for customers. You ask for presidential dollars, they ask you how many, you pay them, they give you the dollars. No fuss no muss.
