I'm not sure what you have. Not a greaser.
When a coin is struck through grease, (sometimes they clean or grease the dies and don't get all the grease out) and when the coins are struck, the grease is covering some of the details. So you will have a coin with many of the raised elements like letters and numbers completely missing, or very faded, while the numbers and letters right next to the missing ones are completely intact.

Meow is pretty sure its struck through grease. Not a very thick film of grease, as it did not noticeably affect the details. But very thin layer of grease will make a fields look like that. It also has the pattern of the grease being pushed out to the rims in a sort of sun ray pattern. The letters in Liberty kept some from flowing off to the edge. That is why it has patches of normal fields behind the letters. (behind meaning from the center to the edge.)

Meow has many grease on die coins, and have studied quite a few of them.

Meow disagrees with you. It is certainly a greaser, as the fields have a pattern radiating outwards like a supernova. Meow has many greasers, and even the ones with letters missing and such have fields that look just like this dime where there was only light grease.
