My local mechanic just found out I collect. and he said "well heck, Ive got suitcases at home full of coins.... been saving them since teh 60's!" so I said "@$% &^#^@&* &@^^# &^%%@!!!!!" then we went to his house... and he wasnt lying!!!! He gave me two cases and Im going to go through those.. then onto the suitcases!!! shawn ( just wanted to share my excitement")
Lucky little ****** My girlfriend's mom is blind and has four large popcorn bins (those large tin ones) full of coins sure wants wrapped. I told her I'd do it but it might take awhile as I want to go through them. She said fine.. I think I'll go get them this weekend. Not as cool as your story though lol

no way man, I kept tons of stuff. I keep every Lincoln cent that comes my way, and a bunch of canadian cents.. I guess... if you wanted me too I could put up some pictures of older canadian pennies, Im taking pictures of some lincolns for another topic in here, Ive already got my camera out
no no i meant from the briefcase you didnt find any dollars, alves dimes etc? or do you just collect pennies and didnt bother about the rest of the stuff?
So far, I've only had a chance to look at the cents. He said I cant have the silver, I dont blame him! maybe Ill be able to score some of it, but I doubt it. I'm happy with the cents, I don't have the kind of money to be paying him for silver anyway. But im going to bring him back the boxes of cents and trade for something new.
I'm under the impression its Canadian quarters and dimes quarters 80% 5.83 grams dimes 80% 2.33 grams
