    Everyone's got their own ideas. I want to try bunker-C next time. Had some good results with olive oil lately on an AE gunked up coin. Used a toothbrush and a toothpick too. 1875 CH 2 r obv C-2.JPG 1875 CH 2 r rev C-2.JPG 1875 CH-B 2 r obv.JPG 1875 CH-B 2 r rev.JPG

Here is another proof from a lot I acquired a while back for about 50cents a coin. These were in 2 x2 holders but not stapled and they were put into a flip with a card in the other side with a date of 6/91. So there is some haze in the field but also a nice gold/tan tone on these. Question is would it be better to roll some EZest with a q-tip which would take care of the haze but take the 28 year toning with it or leave as it?

Looks to be a Type B reverse on that ‘57.
    Is it a proof?

I guess so. I bought a rather large lot of coins some time ago and found around 6-8 of these in various years. I always figured they were proofs since they were so shiny. What are they worth compared to regular ones in similar condition? Excuse my ignorance...I’m just a stacker and not into the numismatic side at all.

Not sure if it’s a proof or a circulation quarter from your pictures.
Check them out on E-bay to get an idea what it might be worth.
    Either way it’s a keeper.

I haven't seen ANY 2019 quarters in circulation, and I found both of them yesterday metal detecting. (I'll need better examples for my album.) Today I pulled a nice low mintage El Yunque which should clean up with acetone and replace my album coin. And the Chaco Culture also low mintage.

It looks like the one above with a mirror finish. I just can’t get the right angle with my phone. Thanks!
