I have 4 1884S, This is my best one and as seeing you gentlemen and ladies are the most critical but the best, please advise me to what grade I can expect from PCGS.
This is a nice PL possibly DMPL ( approx 15 inches).
Weight and diameter, Non mag. all checked accurate.
    Many Thanks,

Strike is excellent, but lots of marks
looks like a 64 to me.

This is common, though, from bag marks, n'est-ce pas?

DMPL to 15"? I'll believe it when I see it!

Honestly, you probably won't get an opinion that means much from those pictures.
No offence, I take horrible pics myself.

No way will PCGS give you a 64!

I said 64 on the basis of an amazing strike. Just look at the hair!

Look at the hair above the ear and along the brow. Look at all of the bag marks on the brow, nose and field as well as the reed marks on her chin. The reverse is nice, but that won't make up for the detracting marks on the obverse. Now, tell me that PCGS will give this an MS64 that is worth in the high five figures.

You certainly can't tell if it's PL or DMPL from those pics. Based on those pics I would say MS62 or 63 on a good day.

    Hi Chris,
I am not sure if your just being critical which I appreciate or just argumentative and negative which I don't. I have not dissed you in any way so I would like to keep this thread on a professional level.
I come here rarely, expecting good advice when I do. If I misread you then just ignore my response (I don't see 64 either).
