well, i'm sure they were all in a safety deposit box and w/the lack of exposure to air or photography they are all MS70 and therefore worth every dollar of the shipping and ... oh, i give up, even i can't justify that logic.

leaving the bidding to y'all ~ lemme know who wins.

If I am correct, the Seller is in voilation of eBay's Rules and Policies! They are trying to circumvent paying additional Final Price Value fees by using a low "Buy It Now" Price and high shipping costs.

That was my thought too but I don't know enough about Ebay to make that comment. I just thought 'isn't this like those country auctions where you buy the can of oil & they give you the shotgun because it's illegal to sell firearms' logic.

I'll pass on this one. Not worth anywhere close to the ridiculous shipping fees. I wonder why people do that? Are they afraid they won't get a decent price? Hoping to catch an unsuspecting person who doesn't check the shipping price? Maybe selling for low $ amounts for tax reasons? Who knows? Not to mention the lack of pictures of the item(s). Again......No thanks.

I don't buy her excuse of the daughter listing the item incorrectly. No pictures.....!0 sets available. If that is so, why not make the auction dutch? Unless she is going to list the item 10 different times. No.....something fishy going on here.

I smell a scam with this one.

    You don't like your item?
No trouble simply return it for a full refund of your purchase price, LESS SHIPPING!

He says its a complete set from late 1800's almost certainly carried by Billy the Kid AND Jesse James! If been working on that set for years...:hammer:

I just read on he has TEN complete sets, what a joke.

I just emailed the seller with this:

"All of your items have ridiculous shipping prices.
This is in violation of ebay rules. May as well shut them down as they will be reported.

Save yourself a warning from ebay."

Time to start reporting and emailing the seller.

She can revise the listing if there is more than 12 hours left and no bids. Maybe she doesn't know this, but I will tell her, and see the auction is changed.

$789 starting bid. $900 buy it now. $12.95 shipping.

Can you smell scam? The photo looks like it was copied from someone elses professional magazine ad. The coin are in the safe deposit box. OK, but why not take more pictures than the group shot.

Someone will bid at the last moment thinking he's getting a good deal. And maybe he is. But I get this creepy feeling about this auction. We'll know in about 4 hours.
