Hi, I picked up a few foreign silver coins today and was wondering about values. First though, I got two Canadian quarters and one of them, a 1905, is coin orientation rather than medal. Is that right for this year? I thought all Canadian coins were medal orientation... Also I don't have a copy of Krause around, what are the values on the babies Canada - 25 cents - 1914 - f Canada - 25 cents - 1905 - g Canada - 10 cents - 1907 - g Canada - 5 cents - 1903 H - g Ceylon - 10 cents - 1928 - xf I'm not a good grader at all and can't take pictures so these are my estimates and are probably a bit on the harsh side. Thanks for any help anyone can give!
Here's a really good look for images & values. And yes, at some point the coins were medal alignment but eventually changed to coin alignment. http://worldcoingallery.com/countries/Canada.html
I like that site a lot and use it frequently as a reference but it only has values by type not date. Thatnks for the info on coin v medal alignment. The interesting thing was that both the quarters have the same design other than that, was just checking if that was normal.
Do you find the KM number then click the link for the Click here for Coin Values! So looking for a 1914 25 cent you'd find the KM then look it up .... http://worldcoingallery.com/values/Canada.htm
