    I'd bet that if you stood on a busy street corner and yelled, "Who wants AID's? Get your AID's here!" there would be no takers.

    They should have thought of a better name for the series.

    I'm not really up on this topic but it may have something to do with packaging. The mint has to plan for packaging well in advance.

    Back when the Presidential Dollar series was still running, they used to sell a separate set of just the Presidential Dollars, as well as include them in the Proof and Silver Proof sets, so that shouldn't preclude them from being included. I think it's the timing issue more than anything else.
