2006 P Dime

I found a strange looking dime in my pocket change , it has a matt finish look to it instead of a shinny look , is this a error coin ????

Without seeing it, I would guess that someone broke open their 2006 mint set and it is one of the "satin finish" dimes.

 

You dont need to open a mint set to get a satin finished coin.
