As one can see from the mintages listed above these are key and semi keys dates and mint marks.
Two do have issues ,detail grades, the rest do grade....but I couldn't pass these up as you don't ever find these dates and mint marks at a show.
When you do they are usually priced according and in lower grades.
So this is an exciting purchase as it closes quite a few gaps until a better coin comes along.....which may never happen so I decieded to treat myself this month for my 65th!
I do appreciate @C-B-D @lordmarcovan and @ToughCOINS for their parts in helping me aquire these specimems.
Now only to track down and purchase the 65,66,and 67 dates.....:jawdrop: yeah their mintantages are in the thousands not tens of thousands....:wideyed:

Yeah some aren't pretty just pretty rare...so one takes what one gets until a better one surfaces.

    John Skelton Morgan man!

I picked this dime up as a hole filler, but a closer look shows something going on around the M and E of DIME on the reverse. I'm sure someone here can tell me stuff about it. Roos dime 1982P 001.jpg

The dealer sold me this and two other coins for $3, saving me $1.10 after we had talked for a bit. He was one I had dealt with before, which points out how helpful it is to know your dealer!

Finished my Roosevelt Dime set unexpectedly today. Paid $59, which comes out to about 12x face. Seemed like too good of a deal to pass up.
