I hate to hear that he was banned/bammed. For the most part I liked him and just like the rest of us the other part you took with a grain of salt. Over on Coin Community I was banned for posting about a thread I was working on here about Early Dated coins. My post went poof. At the time I was helping them move along with a game about how far back they can go in time by posting coins with dates, I got them to 1464 AD. I'd like to notify @Spence over there about the issue so if and when the game starts moving again ( there are no known coins with a date 1464 unless they are Arabic) he won't think I just quit on them.
Yes, that was a heck of a loss. Certainly was among the most numismatically educated folks around. And it was fun occasionally trying to match wits with him. Too bad and I do wish the old boy the best..
I think the administration should take another look at this. The troll who triggered the problem is still listed as an active member though he hasn’t posted since then.
Probably someone else who posts on the site. It would be unusual for someone to specifically target someone in that manner and know how to push their buttons like that just like the CU troll was almost certainly an alt. General trolls troll everyone or topics, they're very rarely that specific
