Great pics.....That Alum proof set was quite impressive to say the least

That oughtta give the folks an idea of it.....lots of dealers and lots of tables. GDJMSP did not post pictures of the exibit area, so add a bunch more to what you see.

funny thing about this show, some dealers had coins in boxes priced below melt. With prices going up I guess that they did not redo all of their boxes.

nope, and dealers dont often redo their boxes, i got 2 morgans for 14 dollars each. a peace dollar for 12. lots of washington and standing liberty quarters for under 3 dollars, and a few mercury dimes for 1 dollar each.

Heat ? Did you say heat ? It was below freezing every day where I was in AZ. I will admit it was nice in Phoenix, but the other 3 days I spent there I froze my rear off !

GDJMSP was in the White Mountains, elevation 7000ft, 200 miles from 78 deg Phoenix. I would not tolerate sub freezing temps longer than a weekend, thats exactly why I left Detroit, yikes !!!

You mean you don't enjoy walking down michigan ave downtown and seeing the beautiful steam coming from the depths of the city? =)

    Wow ! :thumb:

Way back then, aluminum was a higher-priced metal, yes ?

Aluminum production requires a lot of electricity. Until cheap widespread electricity abounded (i.e. hydroelectric), aluminum had a better image.

Yes, aluminum was more valuable than gold.
