France. It is a WWI P.O.W. token for German soldiers held in France issued by the British Expeditionary Force circa 1914. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Expeditionary_Force_(World_War_I)
Very cool. Never seen that type. On to... Channel Islands (Guernsey): copper 2-doubles coin, 1889-H; Heaton mint, Birmingham PCGS MS65 RB; population 1- the only example certified by PCGS as of 3/27/2019.
Great Britain (Island of Lundy): bronze 1-puffin token issued by Martin Coles Harman, 1929 PCGS MS65 RD; population 5 with none higher as of 3/27/2019.
How'd we go from the Azores to landlocked Switzerland? Here. Since the Azores are in the Atlantic, we can sail NNW to Greenland.
Good question. I distinctly recall checking a map and playing from Austria when I posted that Swiss 1 franc. Maybe I was a page off? (edit: yes, I was looking at the previous page!) Here is a 2000 China 5 jiao
Great Siberian piece, @Muzyck! I have nothing to play from the "-stans", so it's back to Russia, with a 1772-EM 5-kopecks "whopper copper", which, though not in the highest grade, was pleasantly inexpensive at the time I bought it. Got several these from a pick bin at one of the FUN shows in the mid-2000s, for around twenty bucks apiece. Maybe it was even ten bucks. Can't remember, but I happily scooped up several of them.
