    Welcome to the neighborhood, James!

Where do you see the doubling? I can't tell from your images.

It is plating issues with the zinc cents you are seeing. Very common. Being new to collecting you should be looking for coins that have lots of luster to them. Shiny, sparkly like new. These coins are much more rewarding in the long run. If you really want to go through cents. Then look for the 1995-D Lincoln. A true doubled-die coin.

This series is a bit tougher than the Formative Year series which had most reverse doubling in the finger and book area. On these the reverse doubling usually centers around the windows and window base and these are hard to photograph. The Log Cabin doubled dies are even more frustrating and I did not even attempt it. Your best bet would be trying to compare yours at www.dobleddie.com. I did work on the Pro Life coins and was able to come in with a new discovery after 9 years (WDDR-030). So far I have the only 8 rolls known of these but I'm sure there are more to be found in solid date boxes yet to be opened.

Woops, I misspelled doubled die, sorry about that. It should be www.doubleddie.com.

Common on Zinc Cents. Worthless doubling. Welcome to CT.
