So, while cashing in searched rolls at my bank, a teller walks out of the vault with bank wrapped rolls of quarters which I was told a few weeks earlier they don’t have nor give out. I couldn’t rightly ask to trade rolls... aargh, lol! Anyways, 10 rolls of customer wrapped quarter rolls purchased at another bank= 4 American, several generic to fill the general pages and one 1953 80% Silver. Yeah silver! Ten rolls of nickels are now on the block... wish me luck!
I had to check out your profile to see where you were from! I thought, 4 american WHAT? LOL. We usually hear we got canadians or even a euro from time to time. Congrats on the Silver! We don't find many at all in rolls of quarters. I actually like finding canadians in my rolls. I set the penny's aside and the large denominations go to my Canadian Beer Fund when I decide to hop the border to visit your fine country!
Lol all my American coin is treated like royalty. Mostly I don’t like the design of Canadian coins, the Loonie and Toonie are borderline ugly. I wish I could get a Brink’s box from the States, I love the new Shield pennies and looking for errors and varieties in your coin seems to be more profitable than ours. As for our beer... lol, I drink import. Molson Canadian is swill, bottom of the barrel but our maple syrup and bacon are good, lol.
I'll agree with the Maple Syrup! I stocked up when I was up there. Not sure how Ricket's White ranks with you up there but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
